Title: Fuel tanks for 1994 Aquasport Explorer
Post by: kb2ski on November 27, 2010, 08:20:02 AM
Guys, this may seem like a crazy question but here goes.   The fuel tanks are listed as main and auxilary on the boat and the fills are on the stbd side.  Which one is which and what are the capacities of each of those two tanks. Teh fill caps are not named.  I do not have any documentation for this boat and I am doing sea trials now and we had water in the tanks.  Before I start putting 100 gallons of fuel in I need to know which tank is which. For starters I want to run it off both tanks in different configurations to make sure everything is good.  My mechanic did not explain this to me.

Which Explorer?
If it is the 250 Explorer I think they had a 150 main in the aft and a 50 aux up front.  I'll ping Dave and ask him to check in here.
