Hi,
I have a 1994 225 Explorer with a missing cabin door, top hatch is OK. Just wondering if anyone could give me the dimensions of the missing door so I could fabricate a new one? Pictures would help too. I also would like to know what the max persons and weight sticker says. A picture would be great too.
I also have a scan of the Aquasport 1994 brochure if anyone would like it I can email it.
Thanks Russ 8)

Welcome aboard Russ. :salut:
I would be very interested in the scan.
Is it the 94 catalog or just your model EX?
Either way...

Well, look at her...and with the Suzi 250, she's got the right power! :thumleft:

Russ,
Beautiful boat! Got to thinking about your door issue, it was made by Happell, which was bought out by Spartech. Unfortunately, last year or so, Spartech went out of business.
Contact any of the 225/245/250 Explorer owners on here, they'll give you the dim.'s to fab your own cabin door...circle hooked and cdoyal come to mind... :thumleft:

Russ what kind of top end do you get with the 250,and beautiful boat by the way.

Hi Capt. Bob,
Hope all is well! It's been a while but just wanted to let you know you did not waste your time. I used Veranda from the Home Depot instead of the Plexiglas. I was more comfortable working with the Veranda. My friend gave me three stainless hinges so with some stainless screws I did it for about $60 bucks. Thanks for the measurements it made the shopping a lot easier.

Circle, thanks.
Top end I dont know but if your still interested I'll give it a try. You may think It's odd I have not pushed it yet but my last boat gave me a lot of problems so I'm still a little shell shocked. :) I usuall cruse about 4000 - 4200 I try to keep it at 9GPH on a good day I think I'm running 30ish.

Russ,
You ol' bastard.
Where the hell have you been?
It's good hearing from you again. :thumleft:
Glad the cabin entry worked out for you. That 94 is another Aqua link.
First year of the Euro transom but still the same hull and cabin as the 230 and my 210 (just longer of course)
Hope you stick around for awhile.
Welcome back.

wingtime The more I think of it, it may be 11GPH. I will take a video of the gauges and GPS at 4200. :bounce:

Still quite a few less gph than mine - you said 30ish mph at that rpm - mine was burning about 17gph at 30ish a few weeks ago.
-
Rick, every time my friend rides my boat he's impressed. He has a 225 merc 2 stroke on his 21 foot Hydra Sport and his GPH is quite a bit more.

I think that my gph dilemma is two-fold: 1) bottom paint, 2) old motor and did I mention bottom paint?
