Title: A few up grades
Post by: Circle Hooked on March 22, 2010, 08:17:52 PM: Been doing some wire and power distribution up grades, new pumps and little cabin work.

My wife Mary took care of this for me,turned out great.

Installed a dedicated fuse box for electronics ran 4 gage wire got it cheap.

Started on the gages need a few more.

Got an idea on some cockpit lighting Scott. Poke a 1/4" hole directly above the old cockpit lights underneath the gunnel cap, and daisy chain another set of lights to mount underneath the gunnel cap. That would be SO cool! They'd have to be surface mounts, but you wouldn't have to do anything breaker wise as those LEDs draw such little power...just a thought... :roll:

The cabin light isn't led yet but will be soon

Clear are good for pies in the inwales like fuel fill access or water fill access. But I have found that when you use them on the cockpit sole, the plastic lenses get scratched very easily to the point where you have to remove them to see what you wanted to see...save the money and go with twist outs or pry outs... :thumright:
