Title: Quick Question-Length of Steering Cable

Quick Question, I need to replace the steering cable (long story...) I haven't gotten the old one yet (another long story....) but I would like to order the new one.  It is a 1987 19'6" with a 150 HP Mariner.  It has a Teleflex Safe-T Steer system.  Anyone know how long the cable is supposed to be?

I just ordered a new one for mine.  It's an '87 w/ a 140 Suzuki.

cables come in either 12' or 14'

Oredered mine 13' from defender... came exactly 13' within a week.
