Title: Composite flooring for 17'
Post by: riverrunner on February 03, 2010, 12:40:14 PM
Hello.
Wondering if anyone has experience using composites vs plywood in redoing the floor (deck)? Brands, and especially if in Florida, suppliers as freight ain't cheap. Someone said I should use pentex board. I'm not sure of the spelling, nor can I find anything about it online using several variations of spellings.
Thanks

Where exactly are you?  Try FGCI, they have a place in port st lucie.

I would go with Nidacore... best bet for lightweight and sturdy.  If weight is not your concern, coosa is fine for the floor too.

If weight is not a concern, 5/8" plywood works great too.
