Mark,
What year?

Please and thank you work wonders, too... 8)

Mark: There are mainly 2 different versions of the CCP console, pre-81 and post-81. So the year is somewhat important. Later Genmar versions also had more changes. What year model are you looking at?
-
Sorry guys,it's a 1978.All holes in console where closed up and re-painted.

My 22-2CCP is an 80 model, about the same as your 78. Here is about what yours looked like as original - I put in the radio setup and a few other changes, but the layout is pretty original:

Thanks for the pic Capt'n. Are your batteries under the console. This boat has to be totally re wired. You wouldn't have a wiring diagram would you.L.O.L. Anything about the boat would help.
Thanks

Here are a few places to start/ponder depending on what you eventually plan to do.

Try and avoid this

There's a lot more out there. The web has wiring plans (I believe one or more has been posted here) so take your time and make a game plan.
Good luck.

Never seen an Aquasport wiring diagram - I think they just ran the wiring as needed in the 70s and 80s.
But remember there were a lot fewer electronics then.
So plan carefully and you can rewire and upgrade. Most all the work will be in the console, with a couple new lines going to the motor and maybe forward if you intend to install a trolling motor in the future.
Good luck and see ya on the water!

Thanks for the diagram. It's a start.I don't have the hull yet but this will give me time to think and figure things out.
Thanks all who contribute.
Merry Xmas
