Title: Engine Rebuild

I have a 1984 75 hp Evinrude. THe bearing  is going out and I need to get a new powerhead. Anyone have a good reccomendation on who to use or not use. I'm looking for the most economical and best rebuild!!!!

Nate, Somewhere I have a link where you can get a rebuilt powerhead and turn yours in as a core or you came have yours rebuilt. I'll post it as soon as I can find it.

So how big is your boat?  I have a 175 Johnson of the same vintage as yours and I would make a deal just for you.   :D

These folks are in the northeast US and have a good reputation - you might want to give them a call:

Wow, I didn't know the bad rep went beyond THT.  I read that thread on A1 on THT as well, and it stretched out several pages.  Many many angry customers.  Beware!!!
