Title: '97 200 Johnson Oceanrunner
Post by: Wayne'sWorld on April 19, 2008, 10:21:56 PM
Does anyone have, or can tell me where to get, an owner's manual for this outboard?  Not looking for the service manual, just the owner/operator manual that would have come with the motor when it was shiny new    New boat for my father-in-law and me.  Took it out for the first time last weekend for his 80th birthday!  HUGE smiles!  We're both in love with it.  This 200 is mounted to a 200 ('85 CCP that is).

I can't help you with your question but I'm sure someone here can.

I just did a follow up on this website and yes, they can order this Owner's manual.
Hope this helps.

I believe he is searching for an Owner's manual not the service manual.

Thanks for the welcome, RickK.  I've been lurking for months and have picked up enough info to decide that our first boat would be an Aquasport.  I'll post pictures as soon as I can.  Hat's off to you, Cap'n Bob.  The link to the site is just what I'm after!  Thanks, also, to you GF for joining in on the discussion.  I've read a number of your posts and have set them aside for reference as I work to bring this boat back to a semblance of its' proper self.  Will check back in with you all through discussion and photo gallery.
