Title: considering jack plate 17 striper

Has anyone seen or put any jack plate on their 17? I dont know too much about jack plates really, but looking at the fully self contained ones look pretty cool. Maybe considering just a manual one too. Someone give me some ideas..

I don't have any experience with it yet, but its being installed this week on my 17.  It will be a manual with a 8" setback from Bob's Machine shop.

SWEET! get some pictures of it once its on and let me know how you like it! how much did you dish out for it? Ive heard plenty of good things about bobs machine products

Its $299 + shipping.  Should allow me to have a great setback and run it even shallower because of that setback.  As soon as its all done, I will post the pics.
