Post by: aqua70 on March 06, 2008, 04:43:00 PM
Can anyone help us out, We need an owners manual for a 1997 115 Evinrude SPL motor. We looked everywhere. It seems this motor was sold as a package. Boat Motor and Trailer. Any help would be appreciated.

I have that exact motor.  I also have the origional operators manual, as well as the OMC issue service manual.  I'd be glad to help out with copies of what you need (If I'm allowed to).

PM me if you wish.
Title: EVINRUDE OWNERS MANUAL
Post by: BOB DOC on March 15, 2008, 02:18:28 PM
Hey Jersey!
I was just able to get a man for a 1978 EVINRUDE 15 HP from: www.marineengine.com (http://www.marineengine.com) Their slogan is " Service Literature for almost any marine engine"
Hope this helps. It would be a certain pleasure to help a fellow No Wildwooder. My parents had a summer place on 15th directly across from the the side door steps to the high school and auditorium.
Grew up in Philly, went to West 58, was just in No Wildwood for The Annual Burrs on The Beach 2 yrs ago. Learned to water ski off Bud Moores' Cris Craft Shark. Fished up & Down that coast from Cape May to Briele.

Bob - great find.  :!:
I think that deserves a spot in the "Resources" forum. Start a topic there and add the web site like you did here and you're done - kept in a good place for all.  Thanks.
