how big of fuel tanks are most of you guys running, and about how many miles can you get on a tank?
-
I'm running an 85 gallon tank (standard on the 22 foot CCP) and get 2.5 to 3 miles per gallon with my old 2 cycle Merc 200. You can do the math for range
-
85 plus a 32
-
Not to discount those figures, but those are CCPs with deadrise... you will not have the luxury of as much room for a tank... nor will you be heading offshore as far (IMO) as a CCP. I dropped a 60 gal in mine, and would be hard pressed to fit much more in the hull. I think hammerhead is installing 45gals?
-
My 22-2 is getting a 65, moving it 14 inches forward to (help) offset the bracket.
-
I just put a 56 gallon in my 222 and should have range of 225-280miles with my 175 suzi. Could be more but havent got fuel numbers yet that is avg of 4-5 mpg
-
Yeah Rich, I did not even consider the boat model.
-
The guy I bought it from says my 170 has a 25-gallon tank. Can't swear to it though :-)

They're talking flatbacks which are 222s though.

Ah, ok, I get it. Duh  :D :D

I bought my tank a couple weeks ago. I got a 36 gal below deck plastic tank.
