Title: Aquasport construction
Post by: GoneFission on October 10, 2007, 09:20:28 PM
Don't know if y'all saw this in the rebuilds section, but I had to cut a new through-hull for the overboard drain - it's amazing how heavy the fiberglass build on the Aquasport hull is - here is the core from the cut - over 1/2" of solid fiberglass!  No wimpy core or lightweight stuff here!

Back on the water again - see you there!

Damn... that's from the hullside?  My glass was VERY thin on the sides of my FB... but then again your CCP is a heavier-duty rig.  I think the bottom of my hull might have been 1/2" thick.

I'm with Rich.  My CCP sides are very thin.
