Fascinating read. Fram filters fare poorly in the test and here I've been foolishly running Fram's since my second car. First one was a '63 VW  which didn't even have an oil filter.  Guess I've dodged some unseen bullets since I've never had an oil-related engine failure. Generally run my vehicles out to 225K+ miles (just to squeeze all the juice out).  '95 Cherokee's pushing 210K and has survived solely on Frams, oil & air.

Good advertising I guess, I always chose Fram too.
