Title: Hole repair

88 AS 170 ,  i have these holes running around the bow. Im assuming from a removed grab rail ? What is the  cheapest way that won't look like my children patched them ? They seem to be slits not just a screw hole . Ill have to remove the rub rail to get a better view of them

I don't think they had anything to do with the Bow Rail...the bases for the rail typically had 3 screw holes, and in the middle of the gunnel...not out at the edge.  Yes, to repair them correctly you'll have to get the rub rail out of the way.

Are there similar holes BELOW the rub rail at the same locations?
