Title: Non Skid Deck Question
Post by: rhtrades on January 10, 2023, 02:20:14 PM
Does anyone have good experience with using epoxy such as West System SixTen or GFlex to fill in cracks/gap/seams?

Had to replace some rotting deck core and after I glued back the old piece of non skid that i had to cut out, i still get cracking all along the seams after Gelcoated....I did use 3M marine filler in the seams before gelcoating, but that cracked too.....so wondering if epoxy is a better option or do I have to glass over the seam?

Thanks Rick.  Had only I seen this video before I started this project of replacing the core.  Now I'm stuck with seams that print thru.
