Title: 2004 explorer 250
Post by: phnguyk on October 19, 2022, 11:02:42 AM
Does anybody know the bow eye to drain plug length? Setting up a new to me trailer, I know the running hull length is 24' 6". Should I use that?

24'-6'' is going to be the overall length of the boat from the transom to the tip of the bow. You would subtract the distance from the bow eye to the tip of the bow from that length to get what you are looking for. Are you setting up the trailer yourself or having a trailer manufacturer do it?

The 250 has a LOA of 26' 6". I'm doing it myself, I've done it before on other boats, but unfortunately this boat is new to me and in the water, getting measurements is tough. But knowing I could subtract from the bow eye to the bow pulpit it'll be easier and get me close. 72 rollers, 31ft (overall) 8k trailer. Thanks
