Title: Yamaha fuel gauge stuck on full

The Yamaha fuel gauge on my 2003 215 Osprey seems to be stuck reading full.  Any ideas/suggestions.

Obviously the gauge gets its signal from the sending unit so there is one thing to check out. Another is to check the gauge by removing the signal wire from the gauge and see if the reading changes to empty.
