Title: steering cable lenght
Post by: Hunthard on July 09, 2021, 11:29:17 AM
Good morning, I have a 20ft cc. 1994 with a 150 Yami 2stroke. I was looking to get a no feed back helm. I was wondering if anyone knows what cable length I should order.
Thanks

Assuming you’re not moving the helm location and just swapping out new cable for old, the cable length is stamped on the cable itself, usually within 1 foot of where cable inserts engine side.  Teleflex and Uflex manual steering cables are interchangeable so the length is same.  That’s the easiest method for getting the cable length.  The other is to remove the old cable and measure per the teleflex/uflex measure guidelines.
