Title: Replacement Helm Instrument Panel
Post by: MartyM on July 10, 2020, 09:54:22 AM
The helm instrument panel on my 2003 25' Tournament Master is chipping and peeling.  Does anyone have any ideas about how to replace or clean up this mess?  Thanks.

Marty

Last link in last post is fairly current.

Also try here:

They at one time had several different Aquasport gauge clusters and panels.

Good luck. :thumright:

Bruce Smith is CNC cutting some panels from ABS or carbon.  He can also program changing the toggle switches to Contura type.  You may want to check with him and see if he has a pattern for your boat.  The ones I've seen look very nice!

Capn John, how does one reach Mr. Smith? I did a member search and he didnt come up. I am in need of a panel for my '98 175 Osprey.
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Thanks Cap, I stumbled on them a few days ago. Looks like $283 for the closest match to mine:

but mine is not a true rectangle as the sides are slightly tapered with the top edge not being as wide as the bottom edge.

That one is tapered also, I am almost 99% sure.

You are correct, I scrolled down and found this in the description which I did not see prior:
"Approximate Dimensions:
19-1/4"W at top
19-7/8"W at bottom
5"H"
I am considering one in White but will call them and ask if they are made to order or in stock. If they provide pictures I will post up here for the record.

Did you end up buying a new panel?

I have replaced one with stainless steel that I had to cut out. They came out really nice but it’s kind of a pain in the ass to keep clean……. Just recently I decided just to go with white starboard….. it was a lot easier to cut the steering … gauges etc. into it and I like the way it looks very clean
