Title: Re-power on Porta Bracket

I am restoring/rebuilding a previously restored 1970 222. For those operating on a closed transom with a porta-bracket, are you using a 20 or 25 inch shaft motor? We are ordering the motor(Suzuki 200) in the next couple of weeks.

Go with the 25" leg on the motor.  The 20" puts the motor too close to the water.  The weight difference in the two is negligible.
