Title: Neutral Safety Switch Replacement?
Post by: LVTP7E6 on July 27, 2018, 09:20:35 AM
Hello All,
I bought a 2004 AquaSport Osprey 215 Sport and after having a mechanic look, he recommends finding out if a replacement Neutral Safety Switch is possible to find. The throttle arm has no manufacturer markings on it and he was hesitant to open it up without knowing if parts are available. Single arm, with 175 Johnson O/B. Can anyone can give me any ideas?
Thanks,
Little Creek Norfolk Virginia

Do you have a pic of the binnacle (throttle arm)?

Hello Wingtime,
Thanks for responding! I attempted to upload a photo but "file too large" error message returned. If you don't mind, I could send a photo from regular email if that's O.K. with you?
Also I am new at this forum and maybe there is an easier way to share photos of our boats?

You can "upload" any size pic and the system will take care of it.  If you "attach" a file, now the system limits you to a file size.  Follow the instructions Capt Bob linked you to - much easier.
