Title: Repower 2000 205 Osprey

Ready to repower my 2000 205 osprey. Has the original 2000 Johnson 150 2-stroke.
Looking at a 175 or 200 Suzuki 4-stroke but the weight is about 130 lbs more in weight.
Will the additional weight cause any issues?

I believe your hull was rated for 225hp which is/was 455lbs. dry.

Figure your weight difference against that.

Like having a big kid standing on the platform.
