I'm replacing the bilge pump and switch in my 200 Osprey this spring and want to install the best system available. Any suggestions?

x2 with Fitz7322 - I put a 1000gph in my 170. They are easy to replace the cartridge when needed.

X3 on the Rule. I’m going with a pair of 1500 GPH on my CCP. For the auto switch, I’m going with the Ultra Pump Safety Systems, Junior. I have no experience with the switch, but by all reports it’s the best for reliability. I can say. It seems solid with extra long tinned heavy gauge leads so the connections will be well out of the bilge.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look into a Rule system with that Ultra switch. I'm having some electrical leaks that may be traced to the bilge, so I'm especially interested the quality of the wiring and its rigging. As for flow, what do you recommend; the 200 Osprey is fitted with a standard (3/4" id?) hose/thru-hull and spends most of its time on a trailer, with a couple week-long stretches in the water at a dock each season.

I'm considering a 500 GPH Rule pump and this new Rule auto switch (Model 39 ECO-Switch) which minimizes wiring. Thoughts?

I would recommend a larger pump. Keep in mind the price difference is minimal and youll be thankful if you were to ever get swamped or find leaks in the deck hatches at the wrong time. I was running 1 1500 gph pump and I too only keep it in the water for maybe week stretches in the keys and scalloping. Front fishbox through hull broke and it was all that kept me afloat was kicking it on and the extra ten dollars magically became worth it. best extra money Ive ever spent saved my a**
