Hey Guys,
Installing a battery switch this weekend for the extra battery I just got and need to mount the battery tray, but had a question about the screws...
The instructions say to use #10, but I'm wondering what length to go with. I would be mounting it in the center console next to the original one. I would think they would need to stop short of going all the way through, but not really sure.
Any help would be great!

Screws through the deck should be avoided IMHO... :2Cents: Clean the deck and the bottom of the battery tray well with a solvent (acetone or lacquer thinner) and then put a good bead of 5200 around the bottom and criss-cross the bottom of the tray - place the tray where you want it, but a battery on top, and don't disturb it for a day or two. You won't need screws... :tme:

3/4" screws should be fine. Seal them well with 5200 or 4000uv. I think a battery is to heavy to mount by adhesive only.
