Title: 2001 AS 250 Exp key problem????

HI everyone, I'm  very new to site snd hope im posting this in correct section, I just bought boat, went to start it and b it startedcright b up but for about 3-4 minutes there was a loud piercing sound coming from key, then it just went off, anyone every experience this?

Welcome aboard RT!!  It could be that you need to add oil to the reservoir. Does it do it every time?

I've only started it the 1 day when it happened, I could swear mechanic said he put oil in as he told me to keep extra on boat for when I hear alarm I will have it.  Called him to confirm. UT haven't heard back....maybe that is the problem. Hmmmm

On my '92 250 Yammy the alarm will sound for overheat and low oil.
