Hi guys, i have a 1997 Osprey and I need to replace the drain tubes in the motor well. The genius that I am, I never measured the size... Well the boat is still buried in storage and I was going to order them now so I can replace them this weekend.
Does anyone know what size I need to order? I am thinking they should be standard 1", but I'm not sure.
Thanks in advance!

you talking about the brass scupper drain tubes? I would guess they are 1" but I'm not 100 sure. Do you have the flare tool to install them?
-
Yes, the brass ones. I'll just order the 1" and if they are the wrong size I'll return them or save them for the flatback I guess.
I have a home made flaring tool which works just as good, at least the end result is the same.
If I recall you were getting a pontoon after you sold your 246, correct? Thanks for the reply too! :nSalute:

That was Marc. No toon for me!

Duh.... His boat was even named Marc-Time. Lol! Sorry about that.
Anyway, just in case anyone was wondering, those drains are 1 1/4".
Have a good one everybody!
