Title: repaired 05 explorer console power wiring !!!!
Post by: fishingdave on October 13, 2015, 09:37:23 PM
I constantly had problems with half the console losing power, and this was due to their poor jumper design . I removed it and replaced it with 12 gauge wire with solder taps . No more issue !!

I did the same thing to mine a couple years ago...  I went about it a little differently but the same idea.  I haven't had any voltage issues since. Make sure you replace the big blue plug if your boat has one.
