How can you remove the hatch when there are no screws visible?
-
At this point there is no hatch, just the outline where to cut if you want one. They stopped cutting in hatches in the 90s.
-
Not so. I have a 2002 with a hatch. The reason I ask is after years of being stepped on it has cracked.
-
Which hatch are you speaking of?

Pic would help.

For some reason I was thinking you were talking about the fuel tank hatch.
-
No . It's not the fish boxes. It's in the center in the back. When you open it you can access the pump for the fresh water shower and the tank for it. It's not the pie plates for the fuel tank or the one in the motor well.

Trying to figure out how to attach a pic.

Looks like hinges accessed from behind and within the bilge, though I never have seen one.

Good luck. :thumright:

Yes. That is it! Sorry I couldn't get pic to load.

CB is the man!
Have you tried using a mirror to see if it is screwed from the bottom?
-
Well looked at with a mirror and can see screw tips coming out. It's got plug like cover over the tops of the screws. I tried to pry them out . They are so tight guess I will drill them out.

Follow these instructions to upload pics to your gallery folder and then the easy part is posting them in your posts. You don't want to attach them. What device are you using - PC, MAC, tablet phone?

Stick your phone or camera down in the bilge and take a couple pics so you can zoom in later to look at what you have.
-
I pad.

You can still get them up to the gallery as the tutorial shows, may have to do the "i" version of the commands. Once up in the gallery you touch the picture and then scroll to the right and you'll see the IMG code (see the tutorial) and I think in the iPad to copy something you touch and hold to get the menu for copy and other functions. Open multiple tabs in safari to make it easier.

Ebay has those replacement hatches. I searched forever to find a replacement for my 215 DC.
