It would be nice to follow those guides when rigging my project boat, but I haven't come across any multi-colored wires from my go-to vendors (genuine dealz for example). Can't say that I've seen them at WM either. Just the solid color stuff.

It's a bit different from house wiring due to the big effect that a voltage drop of just 1-2 volts can have on a 12vdc system.
