Title: Awlgrip 545 epoxy primer (white)
Post by: florida196 on February 19, 2015, 03:36:15 PM
First off I'm no painter.  But mixed up some 545 epoxy primer white 1:1 just like directions said continued to stir for about 10 min. And then reduced by 25percent went to go spray and it just comes out clear sprayed all 12oz on transom and now is still tacky but still clear.  What did I do wrong

Gave Eugene a call and got my answer need to make sure u mix up the base really well in can before mixing the two parts in smaller cup.  He said to use a mechanical stiring device like on the end of a drill. All the solids settle on the bottom.  That's where I went wrong.  Learned another valuable lesson lol.
