Would it be blasphemy to place the nameplate on a 1982 Osprey?
-
Yes. Completely. Utterly. You'll die and go to hell...
-
I'm not sure exactly what you're asking - can you explain a little for us?
-
I understand this boat only had an "aquasport" sticker and I'm asking about the metal name plate.
-
I'm not sure anything later than a late 60s and early 70's (22-2 FB maybe a 191) model had that metal plate. I've been wrong before but my '70/71 didn't have one.

A friend's 75 or 76 222 has the metal nameplate. I'd say your boat had one before you got it.
-
Possibly, but when I bought it in '88 it didn't have it.
I just don't remember many members having that metal plate.
We have images of them but they were from older years.

Not to worry SP, I'll save ya a seat.
Besides, a couple of members have a sharp looking polished, stainless steel badge that looks damn (in keeping with the Hell theme of the thread) nice. 8)
I'd guess you'll ante up a few more coin for that as opposed to the vinyl.
Good luck.
-
Not going with vinyl. All or nothing.
-
you talking bout these badges right?

Yes, but without the 222. I've seen those.
-
Adeptus will make them without the 22-2. They make two sizes. The one Aaron shows is the smaller size.
