Having some issues with water in my fuel tank. Would like to change to a fuel/water separator with a clear site bowl. I cannot find any cross reference #'s from the Mercury to Racor part and info, at least in my searches, has been hard to narrow down. Anyone know the Racor part number that would correspond to the Mercury's 35-802893T?
Also, any thoughts on Moeller's separator? The reviews seem mixed.
Thanks for the help,
DaveB.

I really like the Moeller units and have switched all my boats over to them, formally Racor. First, because they offer a cast stainless filter mount which I've switched to and second because I had ethanol fuel destroy a Racor sightbowl in a about a year. Since ethanol free fuel is available around here now, I have eliminated that issue but stuck with Moellers; typically lower cost, better materials, and 10 micron capacity.

You know I trashed my Racor clear (well green) bowl last year while trying to clean it with carb cleaner. The carb cleaner trashed the bowl instantly! I went down to Worst and bought a replacement bowl. Belivie it or not it was not a Racor but an after market one... either a West marine or Moeller. Now I noticed the powder coating on my Racor is mount cracking and the steel is rusting. So I guess a new assembly is in the future.

Thanks for the responses.
Was going to order online and could not find any references that matched the current filter and did not want to order the wrong one and deal with that hassle.
Was able to speak with someone to confirm the right part to make the change over. Going to pick one up at West Marine. More expensive but need it sooner than I can get it shipped from elsewhere.
Thanks again,
Dave B.
