Title: Replacing Roller
Post by: czizza on July 07, 2014, 12:25:16 PM
I have a wheel that needs to be replaced:

Is there a jack I can use to lift the boat a couple of inches so I can replace the wheel? I have all new washers and hog rings as well, part 2 of this job.

I used a floor jack and a 4x4 post to lift the hull (along the chine) and replace my bunks. You could try that but I'd also have some form of additional support between the hull and frame (jack stand of some kind) for safety while my fingers were in that area.

Good luck.
