Post by: Harry on May 12, 2014, 07:00:40 PM
Does any one no how a 19 6 handles with a tower, or have any pics of one?

Fernando (blue agave) to the white phone...

Our good friend Nando has a 19-6 completely rebuilt with a fold down tower, Merc 200 Opti on an Armstrong bracket.  Fishes the living piss out of her, handles like a dream...

I've fished on old blue with Fernando several times.  The bracket and the tower make it a GREAT bay boat.  Gets real skinny and handles the rough stuff when the bat gets real snotty.

In the shot on the beach, who's boat is the one in the background with the green T-top? I need to ask him for the dimensions on the Asport logo on the side of his boat; I have access to a pair of those but aren't sure how they might work on my 200 Osprey. Can someone tell me who that is and if they are a CAS member how to get in touch?

Pretty sure that's Bruce's (aka Bergertime) 245 Osprey.

Definitely a member.

PM  him. (here's a current thread he has going)

Love my tower, handles just fine.

Any V-Hull with a tower is going to list if the weight is not centered, when weight shifts in the boat the sensation is much more dramatic in the tower than it is on the ground floor.

Doesn't seem to list any more than any over modified Vee.  Sure in the tower you will feel it a bit.  Your not going to be up there in the snotty stuff anyways!  That would have been a E- ticket ride in the stuff we were in on Saturday!
