hey guys, here's a pic of my vessel on Monday at
sands cut in Biscayne bay. she's sanded down getting ready for paint and
kiwi grip. that's my wife in the boat, I'm behind the camera.
there some friends of there from California, you see her
husband but not his wife.
i'll take a couple more pics of my vessel before I paint her,
and after I get done with paint and kiwi grip.

Y'all got any clear water down that way, or is it all as murky as in that picture?

(Up here we get excited if the viz on a day of spearfishing includes a spot or two where you can see past the tip of your spear   )

thanks georgie.
it's been a long process to get her this far. the previous
owner obviously gave up on her. by the time
I'm done with her she'll be almost new.
I went out of black point about 2 weeks ago with my wife and son
and I gotta tell ya we got our azzes beat pretty good.
I think my wife broke her coccyx. (jk)

hey saltH20Hokie,
I took the liberty and I've got some clear water headed your way.
hope you don't mind. you want some of the sand also?

Heck yeah (on the sand, and the water).  In reality, we do have sandy bottom in places...and on occasion, clear water...but neither are the "norm".

The new house is on a muddy cove, but is a brief (10min) boat ride to some nice sandy bottom and a bar that's exposed for about a mile at low tide.

Boat ride to consistently clear water is more like 3-4hrs (to the Gulf Stream), but its out there, and in all seriousness is from down your way.
