Title: Blue paint job or original hull color?? whats your thoughts
Post by: puff tentacle on December 29, 2013, 04:26:17 PM: My 1985 17 ft Osprey that I bought last winter came with a sh---y paint job. I started sanding her yesterday with 100grit and saw her original hull color. I was thinking about having her sprayed a blue color but was thinking about restoring her to original beauty. Not sure yet

BTW...I tried attaching pics but was unable to due to something coming up about the pixel size. any suggestions, pics are on my blackberry

Hopefully Rick will chime in on the photo issue I have had issues in the past too.

Post by: fishinonthebrain on January 10, 2014, 06:51:49 AM: I am spraying it with gelcoat/ duratec high gloss in keel blue. Us composites has a color chart of all their gelcoat tints.
