My 1985 17 ft Osprey that I bought last winter came with a sh---y paint job. I started sanding her yesterday with 100grit and saw her original hull color. I was thinking about having her sprayed a blue color but was thinking about restoring her to original beauty. Not sure yet
BTW...I tried attaching pics but was unable to due to something coming up about the pixel size. any suggestions, pics are on my blackberry
thanks
well i was able to post the pics to the photo gallery but still can't attach to this thread, sorry a newbie

thanks for the help admin.
I will see how well i can bring back the original luster then make a decision whether to keep original or go with a blue color. Thanks

I am going with a blue on my 222CCP and it had the same color scheme as your hull. I love blue though.
Hopefully Rick will chime in on the photo issue I have had issues in the past too.

Hey Fishonthebrain, what kind of paint are you going to use and what color blue are you going to choose?

I am spraying it with gelcoat/ duratec high gloss in keel blue. Us composites has a color chart of all their gelcoat tints.
