I'm working on running everything in the rigging tubes and I've reached a point where I'm looking for some direction.
I have a stock 22-2 where I still have the original rigging trough, on my transom, I have the fuel filter mounted on the starboard side.
My delimma is how to get the fuel line into the rigging hose that feeds into the motor. because of the setup on my motor (150 Yamaha), all the rigging has to go through the same entry point (rigging tube)...
Here is kinda what I'm workin with so far:

I thought about rigging something like this:

where I cut a small cut into the rigging tube and feed the fuel line into that and maybe put some kind of tape or something over the entry point to try to cut down some of the water that can enter the tube.
What do you guys do or have you done before?

Chris, didn't read if they gave he install instructions, but easy peasy given your setup.
Decide where you want the fuel line to enter the rigging hose. At that point, cut the hose all he way through. Carve out a notch on the end of both halves of the rigging hose to allow the fuel line not to get pinched. Put the "collar" on (that's what we called it) and temporarily tighten it with ty-wraps. Use 6-32 machine screws w/locknuts to secure.
The "threads" inside the collar line up with the threads on the outside of the rigging hose so the hose won't pull out when you turn the motor...

Chris, I don't see your binding issue stemming from the way your motor is rigged. I've done a lot tighter bend coming out of the lower pan (due to splashwell configurations) and had the shift/throttle operating smoothly. How old are your cables?

Also, when installing the union, put the entry point on the fuel line pointed down, or seal the entry with black silicone to keep water from leaching down the fuel line.
