Title: Gas Tank

Does anyone know the height of the gas tank in a 1986 Osprey 17' cc?  I am in town today close to a WM and need to buy a new sending unit but forgot to measure the height before I left.  I believe the unit for up to 12" looks right but just want to make sure.

Kent,

Just replaced the tank in my 1988 170.  The height of my tank is 6".  I have the rest of the measurements if you need them.

Yup 6" - Mine is an '85 with the same tank dimensions as jdupree

I replaced the sending unit in my 222 CCP last fall. The unit was made by Tempo and it could be cut to fit most any tank and give accurate readings.
