Almost ready to drop her in the water after bottom paint next week. Anyway, with all this crazy weather up here in jersey, i've got a dual axle trailer with a gvwr of 4750 lbs. the trailer will be used for winter storage and any emergency haul out (she'll be in the slip hopefully by next weekend. Anyone know what the weight is with fuel (it took 103 gallons last week). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dry weight (no engine) 3215 lbs.
103 gals X 6.1 = 628.3 lbs.

Thanx, and im figuring @ another 450+ with the 2004 yamaha 200 ox66 and beer that should put me at about 4700. Thanx again and if you guys are ever up in the northern barnegat bay area let me know, first round is on me.

The owners manual gives dry weight of 4100lbs with a 225. Add gas, water, oil, optional accessories and any gear you're getting close to 5000 lbs.

You have an owner's manual?
That's one heavy 225.

I think we talked about the manual before. It's the generic Aquasport manual that covers several models over a few years. I also have the 2004 OS DC. There maybe a copy somewhere on this site, or at least the pages that list all the specs. I got it a couple of years ago from the Wellcraft site when they still listed a few Aquasport models. The Wellcraft 220 Sportsman that was built until 2009 is the same boat. Here's the link to the Wellcraft site and the PDF for the 2007 220 Sportsman.

4700-5K pounds, real close, basically 5%.
I'm surprised she weighs in #3215 dry hull weight @ 21 LOA. Seems incorrect to me, too heavy, all due respect to the previously quoted info.
For reference..the dry hull weight of my '97 Pursuit 2450 holding 150 gallons was 3250.

I'm fuzzy on those two sentences.
Do you agree the model weights 4700 lbs or do you believe it weights less than say 3800 lbs (including the engine)?

21' LOA
Edit:OK, I see what you're saying, I think. 5000 seems heavy too me also. 3800 seems closer but.....

Looking at the dry hull weight only:
No power, no fuel....but the dual consoles add weight....fiberglass, aluminum channel, tempered glass, and settee forward. Plus the 100 gallon tank.
3215 still seems heavy for a 21 foot boat. Sure don't doubt it though, given the specs/pic.
Slap a 200 on her...and forget the weight :thumright:
