Morse vs Yamaha
« on: February 09, 2016, 08:32:43 PM »
I am restoring an old flatback. I really want to have dual stations. I do not want to pay the price for the Yamaha system. My question is how do the Morse controls compare to Yamaha? How smooth are they? How well do they hold up? Specifically which controls should I consider? I hate to get way from Yamaha but I don't think that I can justify the cost of their unit.

 Thanks

morse controls are super simple, can be had for cheap on ebay or local marine salvage yards. combined with Teleflex Xtreme series cables, throttle and shift action is silky smooth on both stations.

No issues with my morse dual control setup with Utlex zero friction cables.
