1995 Yammi TXRT200
« on: March 11, 2012, 08:15:02 PM »
My digital multifuntion gauge and my digital tach are both shot, displays are weak, they are both the originals so I guess I can't complain....anyways, I would like to replace them both.....does anyone have the part numbers for both LCD guages ??  I can not find it in any of my manuals.  Thanks

Those buggers are pricey, it's best to look on ebay or your local CL for used.  The problem with the circular Yam digitals is the exposure to sunlight. The screen becomes clouded, and, in some cases, doesn't allow any LCD output to show through.  And there is no fixing them...

A word of note to any that have circular Yam digital gauges.  Fashion a cover for them NOW, and use it at all times the boat is not in use!!  The gauges rarely fail, but once the lens goes, they are useless!

Here's a link to what's available out there on ebay right now...http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Parts-Acces ... ital+gauge

Pete,
Used the same gauges from around '97 to at least '06, so there were a lot of years that used the same gauges...

Contact The Marine Connection in Ft. pierce FL. http://themarineconnection.net/ they have them brand new, and about half price of retail, I bought the complete Fuel management system including the transducer for $299.  That is about $700 something at your Yammi dealer, and they come with the wiring harnesses,

You got that right!  The best deal I ever got was a Tach and speedo for about $315 shipped.  That's why it is important to cover those gauges when the boats not in use!

I have the same gauges which I bought new last year.  As Seabob said, keep them covered and away from sun and they will last a long time.  Mine still look brand new, but the ones that came with the boat were shot from sun exposure.

Those are way cheaper then the ones I priced at Marine Surplus.  Maybe it's time to "refresh" my gauges.

I had the same thoughts but I'm not sure those will match up with ours.
Somewhere along the line Yamaha upgraded. I have the multi tach (which you can still get) but the multi speedo is shown as obsolete. Neither are the same numbers as those gauges on eBay. Do you have a different set? Our motors are only a year apart.

Our motors are the same year, different size. Boat's a '92, engine, a '91.
I have both multi's.
