Thanks Gran and wingtime for the positive feedback. Wingtime as far as raising the outside of transom I quess a guy could go all the way to the top. For my application because of kicker motor I didn't want to raise it more than 5-6 inches. More than that then I would have had to install a kicker bracket setting kicker further back, not what I wanted. For the type of fishing we do over here having the kicker in a comfortable spot for handling is important. Normal day of fishing you put maybe 2 hours on your main engine and about 8 or more hours on you kicker.
