1996 225 Explorer Transom
« on: January 04, 2022, 08:18:59 PM »
Looking to re-power my 96 225 Explorer with either 250 or 300 Suzuki.  Transom appears to be in good shape.  Has there been issues with this year that I should be aware of?  Appreciate any input!

Nothing major that I recall, at least not on this Forum.

I've had a Suzuki 300 on my 215 Explorer for the last year and it's an exceptional engine, powerful, economical and silent!

Repowered my 95’ 225EXP w/DF200A. Very economical & enuf performance for 2-3 anglers. No transom issues yet.
