Enclosing a hardtop
« on: May 22, 2022, 10:32:34 PM »
Hi All,

I am the proud new owner of a 1994 245 explorer with a hard top. It need window and curtain canvas but I started thinking, would it be possible to make some fames for plexiglass or something similar instead? Has anyone ever done anything like this?

Its definitely a project, but shouldn't be completely out of reach. I haven't seen anything like it IN PERSON, but here's a BEAUTIFUL example i found after a quick google search. Highly recommend installing vents throughout the front and along both sides to increase airflow, and you really really really need a good pair of windscreen wipers to keep the rain at bay.
