I've got a question about the way yours rides, does it seem nose heavy if you've got a couple of people sitting in front of the console?
And where is your fuel tank mounted, below deck or in the console?

I'm still in the re-construction phase with mine, a 1971 model with the console mounted up against the casting deck from the factory, just curious how it's gonna ride like that.

thanks

The gas tank is located under the console I have not had a problem with it being nose heavy even when I have a 120 qt cooler and live well with 20 gal. of water with 1 or 2 people sitting on the cooler my console is set back a little better than a foot from the front deck I am running a 115 2 stroke with a 17 degree SS prop she will top out at about 5300 rpms at about 34 mph most of the time I am at 3800 to 4k with 4 people on board she is doing about 23 mph and rides the swells really nice I have taken a few pics to try and show placement of the console

thanks - my tank was in the console too, managed to find one that would just fit under the deck so that should level out my ride some.

Yeah when I redo this hull I will be putting the tank under the deck and hopefully a larger one 20 gal is not much range right now I carry a 6 gallon tank just incase
