She just landed here in the yard, and is a honey. John made a great point in conversation that the northern boats received less use, he's right.  

The rubrail color is beautiful, same exact color as Skoots....the hull is pristine. floor a helluva lot better than Miss Marco, still soft, no prob, getting ripped out anyhow.

Transom perfect... shame to tear it out, but will anyway.

Great to catch a break.

Fitz hopefully will add some comments  in my absence this weekend. Going to NYC to visit my daughters.

Ya'll enjoy the weekend. Sorry the weather shut down the gathering.

Thanks Pete! Just took a good look at her in the daylight. Looks great, hull straight, clean, no breaks....and not sure 'till the two go side by side, but this one's bow flare/sheer looks more like a flatback....Fitz and I talked about it last night....doesn't look exactly like the '75 .....but we'll find out.

Maybe its that this one wasn't cracked in half....

 :D

Well brother Scott woke me from a deep sleep about 11:30 last night to tell me about her and walked me through every detail he could. Whats really cool is that my 22-2 and his are both 73D hulls. Which means they could have been in the plant at the same time back in November of 73! Both will/are running twin inline Mercs which is even more rare. Scott is like a teenager on a first date with his new squeeze222. This is going to be fun!

Actually, those are from the ad, I wanted to see some once she got home.

Scott, glad you got her home and she is in the condition where she can be on the water soon  So whatever happened to the Hatteras pics?  I only got 2, both of the teak in the v-berth...

Whew...back in from the adventure. My oldest daughter came down with the flu, so stayed at my other daughters' place in Brooklyn. Went back and forth from Manhattan to Brooklyn by subway about ten times. Rode on pretty much all the lines/trains.

My girls love living in NYC, they're young and energetic, love the hustle, bustle, and excitement.

I look at those poor folks riding those trains everyday, and guys my heart breaks for them. NO talking, they look like zombies. The trains are loud, and the stations and tracks are old and nasty, paint hanging from the ceiling, graffiti, gang signs, rats...

The trip's plusses outweighed the minuses tho. The weather was perfect, sunny, high upper sixties every day. Spent a lot of time shopping Fifth Ave., went to Gucci/Chanel/Cartier/Tiffany/Van Cleef/Tourneau/Fendi, all the places the richies hang out....fun to pretend to be a richie for a day...amazing there is that kind of money in the world.

Couple things...Happy Birthday John, hope it was a goodun'!

Lewis, glad you started her!

SB, will re-send the Hatt pics today. Let me know if u don't get them.

Glad you guys got in a gathering!

AND...this week I will learn to post my own pics, Lew has convinced me that I am capable... :scratch:

Thanks JJ....no place like home!

Am through going anywhere 'till after Christmas, need to get back to scratching out a dollar. Have some pretty neat pics to post, will get'r done.

Hauling Miss Delmarva to Seamark tomorrow morning...will take some good pics when I drop her off.
