Outstanding, Koz!  I really like your functional upgrades, the overall rehab and - with the standard and custom teak & mahogany - that '78 classic is just drippin' with class!

Now that it's wrapped up, how does your wife like it?  Just as important, what does your Pop think about your project...and his 'new' fish slayin' ride?

MAAAYYYYYBEEE........ just a few more things here and there....

In keeping with the mantra of having a clear floor with nothing on it, I decided I needed a better cutting board option than putting my old one on the floor.. I added a piece of starboard to the inside of the door.

Necessity is the mother of invention. This was a "why didnt i think of that sooner" no brainer. The knife is just out of view in a rodholder bolted to the side near the motor... i think the rodholder is visible in previous pics. I was toying with buying a magna rodholder mounted cutting board but this works out perfect being i keep the bait in there anyway and have to open that door to get to the bait. More to come im sure....

Hey guys! I just recently purchased a 1980 Aquasport 200ccp. I noticed some of you have cushions for the coffin box in front of the console. Did you guys have those custom made? or can you purchase them?

While the cushion (split) came from the Factory, you will need to have a canvas/cushion shop custom make those nowadays. You may find an "off the shelf" (think cooler) cushion that will somewhat cover the coffin but it won't be tapered or split/hinged to allow access to the box from either side.

Good luck. :thumright:

I have one side that came with the boat so i suppose my next best route will be to get that one copied for the opposite side. Thanks!
