225 Explorer Fresh Water Pump Power

(1/1)

upperchessydog:
I recently purchased a 2000 225 Explorer and I am in the process of upgrading/repairing systems to get ready for the water.
Made new dash, added switches and breakers, added charging ports for electronics, new stereo, additional chart plotter, relocated transduces to the step as per this forum, replaced nav lights, replaced fish box pump and wife still pissed about getting sent into the bilge for that.
My only remaining problem is that I do not know what powers the freshwater pump, it doesn't appear on the dash labeling, it does not run and it doesn't appear on the breaker/fuse box on starboard side of transom. Unless someone knows or has a schematic, I will have to send wife into bilge again to disconnect pump and tone it out. Don't know how many of those favors I have left before I have to replace wife as well. Will be most difficult to find another wife who can fit into the bilge.

 :cheesy01: That's funny

Fresh water: Find the fresh water tank, follow the hose to the pump and follow the power leads. May sound simple but that's what you have to do.

upperchessydog:
Yes I clearly know what the alternative is as I have the pump in sight without the colonoscopy. Just thought I could avoid marital conflict by finding a schematic or another AS owner who previously abused their spouse or neighbor umpalumpa, port side transom access is 10 inches at best. It is odd that it is not on a switch and brings up other questions about it's operation. Anyway, that is why I asked for guidance, just thought someone here would know.
Toning out the line it is.

RickK:
Having the Euro transom sure added another level of frustration accessing stuff in the bilge.

This may help.

Post #9 may help but the whole thread is useful.

Good luck.
