Calusa Wind----Aquasport logo??
« on: January 30, 2006, 02:25:52 PM »
Does anyone know who owns the Calusa Wind?  I would like to know where they had the custom Aquasport logo's made up?  Hopefully the company may still have the template?  If you know anything about these please send me an email!  Thanks, Mike

The out-fit that the 'Calusa's' owner had do the restoration work, is out of business and gone, so not going to be able to help you there, sorry.

They are really nice logos though.

Thanks 88 222!  But i'm looking for the pre Genmar day logo's for my restoration.  The Hialeah logo!  If you find any of those please let me know.  Like the one you see for the forum logo.

Hey, a number of us have electronic files with the old Aquasport logo. I've got one that a number of forum members have asked for and maybe used.  If you send me a pm, I'd be happy to send you the file.  All you need to do is to take it to your local graphic arts place.  They can open the file and produce the aquasport logo in any color and at any size.  Knock yourself out!

That still doesn't compare, IMHO, to having the old raised lettering.  I've got part but only part.  There was someone on the site who actually reproduced a set by hand using a Dremmel tool and they were amazing. Don't remember who it is.  Would the real Geppetto (pinocchio's dad) please stand up?

Maybe we could find a forum member with a good set to let us make a mold.

Cheers,
Steve
