Hello all!
I'm new to this forum. I've noticed a bit of transom flex on my hull. Is the transom for these models composite or wood? Has anyone on this forum repaired a transom on one of these models? Looks like I may have a big job to do in the future...
Thanks in advance for any info.

By 1999, Aqua advertised their hulls as composite construction aka "no wood, no rot". That's not to say that the day your hull was on the assembly line, the composite pouring material ran out and plywood was substituted.
While we have no idea how common that was, we have been told that in order to "keep the line moving on schedule" that was an accepted practice.
Who really knows for sure until you actually look for yourself. :ScrChin:

Thanks for the info.
Can I count on the stringers being composite? I know the deck is cored with plywood.
Also, has anyone here been able to remove the wood and pour SeaCast (or similiar product) to a similiar hull? Any advice for this process?
